About Me

I am a human-centered information technology and business leader who facilitates organizational transformation through empowering and innovative strategic planning, governance, projects, services, and communications.

I am driven by people and I focus my purpose and priorities on the success of others.

I’ve spent my career in roles where others' needs are front and center and where strategies are developed and executed with a high degree of collaboration and shared ownership.

My leadership style is authentic, genuine, and servant in nature.

My Current Role

I am the Director of Strategic Project and Service Management for the Western Michigan University Office of Information Technology, reporting to the Chief Information Officer. I Partner with the university community and IT constituents to facilitate strategic planning, governance, and business analysis to effectively manage IT projects and services.

My Philosophy of IT in Higher Education

IT should be an empowering strategic partner that provides people the tools and resources to engage, innovate and transform.

This is reflected in the new shared mission and vision for IT at Western Michigan University that I describe in the 2020 IT Year in Review video.
